- Storing: Properly storing received items in designated warehouse locations, ensuring that inventory is organized, labeled, and easily accessible for retrieval.
- Picking: Fulfilling customer orders by selecting the appropriate items from inventory shelves or storage areas based on order specifications or picking lists.
- Packing: Packaging selected items securely and preparing them for shipment, including labeling packages with shipping information and ensuring that they are properly sealed and protected.
- Shipping: Arranging for the shipment of packages using shipping carriers or logistics providers, generating shipping labels, and coordinating pickup or drop-off schedules.
- Inventory Management: Conducting regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory records in the warehouse management system to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Material Handling: Using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or conveyor belts to move and transport materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, defects, or discrepancies and reporting any issues to supervisors or quality control personnel.
